Right now, we’re searching for Aviation Security Officers with commitment, pace and the flexibility to continuously adapt to the fast-changing needs of our business. Have you got it in you?
At M.A.G, we’re the country’s largest UK-owned Airport operator, and a business that’s brilliant at what it does.
We’re currently facing some exciting and rewarding customer service challenges as we continue to grow. Join us as an Aviation Security Officer, and you’ll help us move hundreds of thousands of passengers – and their luggage – quickly and safely through our airport every single week of the year.
You’ll discover that no two days will be the same as you get involved with searching customers and their luggage, operating equipment like x-rays and observing screens, and patrolling our sites. Security experience isn’t necessary as we offer full training, but you will need to be the kind of person who can act fast, and make big decisions when it really matters.
So, are you made of the right stuff?
Join us and your working hours will continuously adapt to the fast-changing needs of our business as part of your Part Time Permanent Annualised Hours contract. That means we’ll pay you for 20 hours each week, every week. However, you may be required to work more than 20 hours a week at peak times or less than 20 hours a week at quieter times – either way, your weekly salary will be paid consistently at 20 hours.
In return, we offer a rate of pay of £9.95 per hour (including shift enhancement), which rises to £11.06 per hour following successful completion of a probationary period.
As part of the team, you’ll also enjoy a wide range of benefits, from a uniform, free parking and discounted tram and rail transport, through to childcare vouchers, a pension, and everything that comes with our brilliant M.A.G Reward Scheme.
I've got high standards and I want to make sure the service we deliver is 5 star!
